At the Center for Senior Wellbeing, we believe that staying active, engaged, and curious is key to thriving at any age. Our Senior Activities program offers a wide variety of opportunities designed to enrich daily life, spark new interests, and foster connection. From movement and fitness classes to languages, card games, and technology-based activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy – whether you’re looking to stay active, explore new hobbies, or simply have fun with friends.
These classes are designed to help older adults stay active, strong, and confident in a safe, supportive environment. Offerings may include fitness and exercise classes, chair yoga, breath sessions, line dancing, and other movement-based activities that promote mobility, balance, flexibility, and overall strength.
Activities are gentle, adaptable to all ability and fitness levels, and led by instructors who understand the unique needs of older adults. Participants can expect a variety of seated and standing movements, light stretching, breath work, strength and balance exercises, range-of-motion work, dance movement, and low-impact cardio – all presented in an encouraging, social setting.
Together, these classes support physical wellbeing, energy, and confidence, while creating opportunities for connection, enjoyment, and active aging.

These classes and groups offer older adults opportunities to relax, connect, and explore personal interests in a welcoming, social environment. Activities may include music lessons and ukulele groups, conversational Spanish, card and table games such as Bridge, Pinochle, and Mah Jong, as well as creative pursuits like photography and other hands-on activities.
Whether participants are learning something new or enjoying a familiar favorite, these activities reduce stress and support mental engagement, creativity, and social connection.

Our Pickleball activity offers a fun, social, and low-impact way for seniors to stay active and engaged. This is not a teaching or instructional class, but open pickleball time reserved for members to gather and play together. This popular sport combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, making it easy to learn and enjoyable for all skill levels.
Playing pickleball helps improve balance, coordination, and agility, while also providing gentle cardiovascular exercise to support heart health. Just as important, it encourages social connection, mental sharpness, and a sense of community – keeping both body and mind moving.
