
The Center for Senior Wellbeing relies on volunteers to help us accomplish our goals of providing vital services to the seniors in our community. Wherever your interests and skills lie, and whether you want to work directly with clients or indirectly behind-the-scenes, we can find a meaningful and fulfilling volunteer role for you. Below are some examples of the ways you can contribute.

Share your skills and passions by leading or supporting our classes and workshops. From fitness, dance, and music to tech, language, and creative activities, your time helps seniors stay engaged, active, and connected
Behind-the-scenes support . . . clerical work, data entry, stuff envelopes, make phone calls, pick up supplies, handyman assistance
Assist with arts and crafts activities. Read to our ADC members, lead them in a music or dance experience. Teach a cooking session or engage them in conversation.
Assist with welcoming seniors at check-in, managing payments, and serving lunch. Help set up tables, restack chairs. Help set up special lunch-time technology sessions or advocate space … there are lot’s of ways to support the smooth running of the Senior Lunch program.
Provide friendly follow-up calls to our clients. Help put together care packages or send greeting cards for birthdays and holidays. Pick up a wheelchair, walker or other piece of medical equipment that is being donated or returned.
Assist the Thrift Shop team with sorting, arranging and organizing the shop. Welcome customers and help with sales.
Staff our booth at community gatherings, direct traffic, greet and guide guests, assist with setup and breakdown, hand out materials, manage the beverage table, or capture memorable moments through photography.
Use your own vehicle to transport older adults to medical appointments, the grocery store, or to an appointment with a Veterans Benefits specialist. Driving distances could be in-town or out-of-town within a 50-mile radius of Fallbrook proper. All mileage is reimbursed.
